(2008 testimonies):
Tim Ryckman (Student)On the trip I was challenged mentally and spiritually to stretch my mind and soul to better understand God and how He has been working through the centuries to shape mans’ mistakes for His glory.
Joanne Reaka (Parent)We write to thank you all for the hard work, energy and care you put into making this trip such a wonderful experience for Nome. I have worked for a school travel company and know that a successful trip doesn't just happen. Nome came home bubbling over with excitement about the wonderful time she had. “I had 14 friends all at one time” is one of our favorites. We also hear on a regular basis, “I wish we could still be there.” In the midst of all the fun and friendship it seems she learned things too! It doesn't get much better than that. I think one of the reasons she had such a successful trip was because she felt appreciated, and cared for, thank you for creating that environment.
Have YOU examined your Spring study options? We’d love to have YOU!
We urge you to consider a second term program of studies that interrogates the vast scope of Western civilization from a multidisciplinary, Biblically distinct, reflective lens. Chronicling the ascent of man from the beginning of time – through specifically Greek, Roman and early European developments – Comp. Civ. 12 digs deep to unearth the residual western “mythos” that bears stringently on habits of thought and practice today. But while our focus is distinctly Christian, the program’s design is not to validate adherents of the Christian faith as much as its vision is to authenticate them; that is, to ready youth for a Christ empowered, world adventuring, confidence that “the way of the Lord” is timelessly relevant, intellectually rigorous and ultimately self-dignifying. If you are a young person “of conscience,” devout about interrogating the pitfalls of human piety, and keen to proclaim the peace and passion of the cross, then we would love to invite you to share the Europe 2010 adventure with us.
